Scott Weeden played quarterback for the Basildon Chiefs from the teams beginnings as a junior outfit in 1985.

Scott was under centre for the Chiefs first season as a senior team in 1991, guiding the team to the Bowl Game, and continued to lead the Chiefs for many seasons afterwards.

Leading an explosive offense that boasted the likes of Shulba Hunt and Chris and Paul Simpson, Scott regularly featured highly in the League's passing tables and was awarded with the title of League Leading Passer once in his Chiefs career.

When Scott made the decision to hang up his cleats, the #12 shirt was retired by the organisation.

Scott now lives with his wife in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, but still checks in on the Spartans from time-to-time.
